Painting with a Prism
Tango Two was painted with sunlight using a prism. The sunlight was directed onto a white painted wooden panel which was positioned in a darkened area of the studio. The painting was recorded on my Nikon D700 on a slow shutter speed of 1.5 seconds. The design configuration was created digitally with photoshop.
This is a photograph of the prism I used to create Tango Two which was taken on my Canon S95. Apart from cropping the image, I did not intensify the colour saturation, or alter it in anyway.
